2c. Build the fire, light it, put it out properly

Using a minimum-impact method at an approved location and time, with the wood from 2b. Let the flames burn safely for at least two minutes, then extinguish with minimal impact and deal with the ashes and charred remains.
Notes and warnings
Note. The fire is built with the wood prepared in requirement 2b, at an approved location and time, using a minimum-impact method. If local fire restrictions prohibit lighting it, the sheet allows for that, but the preparation, the extinguishing and the disposal are still the requirement.
