Required Often forgotten
A time extension is for the rare case of an extreme unforeseen circumstance or a life-changing event. Extensions have specific end dates, may or may not involve a disability, and exist only for the Eagle Scout, Summit and Quartermaster ranks. This is a different thing with a different approver. See 9.0.4.0 for extensions.
Notes and warnings
Warning. A time extension and this registration are not alternatives to one another. An extension has an end date, may have nothing to do with disability, and exists only for the Eagle Scout, Summit and Quartermaster ranks. This is permanent and open ended. Asking for the wrong one wastes the time of everybody who reads it.
