Several badges involve activities that must be supervised by someone holding specific credentials. Consult the current merit badge pamphlet: the lists change as pamphlets are revised, and the Guide to Safe Scouting supersedes any other publication.

Warning. All certifications must be current. The Guide to Safe Scouting holds the policies in force and supersedes any other publication or literature on these activities.
Note. Completion of the DEI volunteer training is strongly recommended for Citizenship in Society counselors: it covers the concepts the Scouts will be studying.
