8.0.3.0. Eagle: the council verifies the application first

This may not apply to you. You have not answered "Which rank is this board of review for?" yet. Answer it and this step will either settle or drop off.

The board must not take place until the local council has verified the application. Under disputed circumstances, the council verifies everything that is not in dispute before the board is scheduled.

Warning. An Eagle board of review must not be denied or postponed because references have not replied. See "References Contacted", 9.0.1.7.

Note. Where a unit leader or committee chair has not approved the application, the candidate still gets a board of review. The absence of approval may be weighed in the decision.
